One big friendly fish with bubbles, easy coloring page for kids

Easy Fish Coloring Page

One friendly fish blows two bubbles across the page. The large body is perfect for dot markers or finger paint. Older preschoolers can add stripes or spots, then count them out loud. Blue crayon water around it is a bonus.

Things to talk about while coloring

Fish breathe underwater using gills, and they swim by moving their tails back and forth. Some fish live in salty oceans and others live in freshwater lakes and rivers. Point to the bubbles floating up and talk about why fish need water to live. A goldfish can live for many years with good care.

Coloring ideas

Orange like a goldfish is a classic choice, but a rainbow fish with a different color on each fin is fun too. Color the bubbles light blue, and leave the shiny spot in the eye white. Older kids can draw scales on the body in a pattern of little curves.

A little learning

Fish starts with F, a soft, breathy sound, so practice it together and think of other F words like fin and fun. The round body and the triangle tail are shapes to name before coloring.
