Things to talk about while coloring
Count the boxes together, then talk about which present is the biggest and which is the smallest. Giving gifts is one way to show people we care, and a handmade drawing can be a gift too. Ask who your child would like to give this finished page to, and help them write a short note on the back. You might also chat about gifts that don't come in boxes, like helping, sharing, or spending time together.
Coloring ideas
Choose a different wrapping color for each box and a contrasting color for every bow. Older kids can design their own wrapping paper inside the boxes with stars, stripes, or tiny trees. Leave a small tag on one box blank so your child can write a name.
A little learning
Putting the four presents in order from smallest to largest is hands-on practice with size comparison and ordering.
