Things to talk about while coloring
Monster trucks have giant tires that let them climb over and jump off big ramps. People go to shows to watch them do tricks and crush old cars. Talk about how the big tires and springs help soften the landing. Drivers wear helmets and sit strapped into a strong seat for every jump.
Coloring ideas
Bold colors like lime green, purple, or fire red look great on a monster truck. Make the tires black, and color the dust clouds tan or light brown. Older kids can add flames or stripes to the side of the truck. The deep tread on the giant tires is great for careful coloring with a dark gray or black crayon.
