Things to talk about while coloring
Leprechauns are small, mischievous characters from Irish folklore, often shown with a tall hat, a curly beard, and a pot of gold. In many stories, a leprechaun who gets caught has to grant a wish or give up his gold. Ask your child what they would wish for if they ever caught one.
Coloring ideas
Green for the hat, vest, and pants is the classic look, with an orange or red curly beard. Make the hat buckle and the shining gold coin in his hand bright yellow or gold, and color the shoe buckles to match.
A little learning
Leprechaun starts with L, so practice the L sound with your tongue behind your teeth and name other L words like lucky, leaf, and lollipop. Counting the buttons on his vest adds a small number job.
