This free letter O tracing worksheet gives your child rows of capital O and lowercase o to trace, then blank lines to try on their own. Pick a line size for their age, print it on Letter or A4, and practice for five minutes a day.
How to write a capital O
- Start at the top line.
- Curve to the left, down around the bottom line, and back up to close a big circle.
How to write a lowercase o
- Start just under the middle dashed line on the right side.
- Curve up and around to the left, down to the bottom line, and back up to close a small circle.
Teaching tip for O
Both O shapes go to the left first, the same way as a, d, and g. Building that habit here makes those letters easier later.
