This free letter T tracing worksheet gives your child rows of capital T and lowercase t to trace, then blank lines to try on their own. Pick a line size for their age, print it on Letter or A4, and practice for five minutes a day.
How to write a capital T
- Make a straight line across the top line from left to right.
- Start in the middle of that line and pull straight down to the bottom line.
How to write a lowercase t
- Start a little below the top line and pull straight down to the bottom line.
- Cross it with a short line along the middle dashed line.
Teaching tip for T
Capital T starts with the line across, but lowercase t starts with the line down. Lowercase t is also a bit shorter than tall letters like l and h.
